Re: Integra-7 Sound Editor for OSX
Thank you, K_Take.
Still curious to know how it'll handle multiple units. For example, how would one select a particular unit for editing?
Again, thank you very much!

Maybe using different MIDI connections from the menu? Or are you thinking about having both running at the same time? ;-)
Re: Integra-7 Sound Editor for OSX
Now if someone can create a librarian for us Jupiter 80 users! :)
Re: Integra-7 Sound Editor for OSX
If someone offers a JP-80 to K_Take, I'm sure he would!flyingace wrote:Now if someone can create a librarian for us Jupiter 80 users! :)
Maybe Roland...
They should offer him a JP and a FA!

Yeah, that's exactly (and all) I've been able to come up with. Don't have 2nd unit yet, so just been guessing.
Heck, I haven't even installed the software (no point... yet), so I'd assumed selecting MIDI input was possible and might work. Thank you for "confirming" that this should (in theory at least) be possible.
Hope you're OK, P-Man, and thank you, bud.

I hope you have your 2nd integra soon. The more I use it the more I love it!!
Together with the V-Synth XT , the MOXF6 and the 2 Roland MIDI Controllers (A-800 PRO and PCR-500) it forms an incredible set capable of up to 8 simultaneous Splits and a few layers!
Take care
Paulo

Re: Integra-7 Sound Editor for OSX
Thanks for the encouragement, Paulo.
The 2nd I-7 will have to wait even longer now as I'm going to upgrade from the MOTU 24i/o setup I have to the MOTU AVB system. This is proving to be a challenge as I may even need to ditch the Mac for AVB / Thunderbolt compatibility. Seems my beloved Mac may be 1 model too early. Uuuggghhh! If you're curious, I'm patiently following this thread:
https://www.gearslutz.com/board/music-c ... t=motu+avb
This whole process, including selling the 3 x 24i/o units and possibly upgrading the Mac will likely take 'till March at least. Finances and health have been huge issues this year, but at least the I-7's goin' nowhere. This is why I haven't even installed K_Take's software yet. I love my I-7, as you know, so it just sits there and patiently waits for me to lay mah mitts on it. It'll be a long wait - poor I-7!
You know how it is, bro' - it's all about the sound (I'm supposed to be an engineer), and dem MOTU AVB interfaces absolutely sound fantastic by all accounts. I'll still be dropping in here daily to, er, monitor when / if Roland releases a model update, OS software, Axial sounds etc., so I'll catch you 'round like a rissole, mate!
Take care, Paulo.

Re: Integra-7 Sound Editor for OSX
I did come from a 96 IO MOTU system (3x24IO+2408MK3)
And after selling alot of the old roland drum museum :) I ended up with an Antelope Orion32
Very nice gear, looks awesome, sounds incredible.
And 32 IO from USB....
I use it on a RME Madiface XT via Matrox PCIe to Thunderbolt.....

Re: Integra-7 Sound Editor for OSX
Thank you, SepticUnderground. Yes, I've heard they're great. I do appreciate your effort to help.
I need to be able to monitor around 70 ins at once, all submixed to "drums", "bass" and "other", and record any or all of these (70, not the submixes) sources at once. The cheapest, best-sounding way to achieve this, AFAIK, is with MOTU's AVB system. CueMix with the PCIe interfaces has always worked flawlessly for me, but those new converters have thrown a spanner in the works.
Also, I've been wedded to MOTU since the '90s and intend to stay there for MIDI and audio hardware along with DP.
Sorry folks for this distraction. I won't discuss this further if I can help it, so... back on topic!
K_Take, thank you again for all your effort. Please keep it up, bro'!
