wireless adapter

Post by jeebustrain »

has anyone tried the Netgear WNA1000m adapter? I know the WNA1100 is the standard one that is said to work. My Integra lives in a road rack and I'd love to use a smaller (the WNA1000m is really small) adapter and just leave it in full time. The larger WNA11000 would have to be removed whenever I close up my rack. Other than the size, they appear to be identical in spec.

Just in case anyone was interested, I ran across a thread on here yesterday (forgot to save the link) where someone had tried the WNA1000m adapter and it did NOT work. After I posted here, I looked and the 2 adapters have different chipsets (one Atheros and one Realtek) so I didn't have much hope after that.

Update 1.21 says it supports now the ONKYO UWF-1 Wireless USB Network Adapter.

The Onkyo appears to be as small as the 1000m. Did anyone try the Onkyo on 1.21 ?
