Using MIDI Controler with the Integra-7

Post by Saxfred »

Hello
I recently bought a MIDI foot Controler and I would like to controle the sound of the Integra-7 with the 2 Controler Pedals.
I try to dig into the manual but I am not able to locate wher I can find the information

As an example I would like to assign the 1st Pedal to CC01 (mod Wheel) to open a filter of a PCM Synth Sound.
Looks like the Mod Wheel CC is set to control the LFO and the question is how do I change it to get it control the filter. the good thing with the foot controler is that I can assign a specific range (to avoid weird sounds) e.g. I can set the pedal to send MIDI CC01 from 50 to 90 (instead of 0 to 127).

So if someone can help that would be great.
Thanks for your help

This could be done but not directly as the Integra-7 use sysex messages to control parameters directly. With CC messages you then need to use their "matrix control", which is somewhat more complex...

With the matrix control you basically select a source (The CC message you want to use to control something) and a destination (what is controlled).

I suggest that you start by reading page 63 of the integra 7 parameter guide.
