Mono Input?

Post by TornadoTed »

Is there any way to have a mono input?

I plugged in my mono synth (Sub 37) and it was either panned hard left or hard right.

Seems a strange oversight if it is stereo input only.

I do not have an Integra 7 but are you using a TS or TRS cable to connect the Sub 37?

Thanks for the reply,

TS as the Sub 37 has an unbalanced output.

Shouldn't make any difference though either way as far as I can see, it has separate inputs for L & R. Plug into the left the sub 37 is panned hard left, plug into the right and it's panned hard right.

I use my Virus Snow to process a mono synth and that allows a mono input if you just plug into the right input which is odd as L is usually always Mono.

Doesn't look the Integra gives you a panning option for the External audio input; just level, chorus, and reverb.

An inexpensive TS splitter cable would do the trick ~
1 Mono in, 2 mono out so you could feed the signal to both sides of the Integra audio input.
