Was trying to use the I7 MIDI Interface for sending Sysex and bumped into this.
Sending a short single SYSEX (184 bytes) from an external device to the I7 MIDI DIN-IN and then on a PC receiveing the SYSEX.Strangely, the SYSEX message is duplicated (send twice) when received. Replacing the I7 with a simple MIDISPORT 2x2, the SYSEX only is received once (= Correct).
When sending a very large Sysex (18.4K) from the external device through the I7, the SYSEX message is not received at all on the PC. with the MIDISPORT multiple Sysex are received correctly.
Looks like I7 has a problem with processing SYSEX from MIDI DIN IN to USB. Anyone can duplicate this? I7 is set in Generic USB mode with MIDI THRU on. SYSTEM Version is 1.20.
