Bought the Integra 7 - afterthoughts

Post by blu3planet »

I eventually found a smoking deal for a used unit and I must say that it's amaaaazing. my main keyboard is a Kronos and I find the sounds on the Integra much better! amazingly responsive pianos, guitars, brass and synth tones coming out of this little unit. Love it! and indeed, just as you guys said - the SN tones is where it's at while the PCM stuff is a very neat added value.

few questions -

1. my volume button is a bit worn off and I would like to replace it with a new one. where can I find these parts for purchase?

2. it did not come with any CD\DVD\manual. I did a full factory reset but I don't have any ready "studio sets" on board. where can I find them? I'm asking because I saw on one of the reviews that it comes with studio set templates for orchestra (with motion surround) etc.

3. lastly, what is your preferred editor/librarian for this?

1: The volume knob on the Integra is the same as for the G serie or the V-piano you can find it there:
http://www.fullcompass.com/prod/285720-Roland-04124267
OR
https://syntaur.com/Items/3643.html

2: All the manuals are available there:
https://www.roland.com/us/support/by_pr ... s_manuals/

3: Definitively this one:http://synth-voice.sakura.ne.jp/Integra ... glish.html
(as most will agree that it is better than the Roland editor)

4: (I know you didn't ask) ... but go there too:
http://axial.roland.com/category/integra-7/

Hi Blu3planet,

You made a very good choice!!!
The SN Tones are stunning, specially the Acoustic, Electric, Lead Guitars, Acoustic Pianos, Drums, and much more

Regarding your questions, LA already answered all of them, and a few more ;-), but in fact there is also a Librarian for MAC that I do not recommend, as it is rather cumbersome and confuse (but maybe that is just me and my old age... )
Cheers,

Thank you very much for al lthe answers...

the editor is indeed very nice! I downloaded both packages from the Axial website. great sounds! there's so much to explore with this unit.

unfortunately though, I don't need only the volume knob but also a new PUSH pot as well. I can't find it on both sites you posted. there also seem to be a little piece of foam between the knob and the pot.

Since the integra-7 is still in production you should be able to buy the parts directly from Roland. Give them a call, they should be able to help.
