On some digital pianos, you can do a split where you have an acoustic bass layered with a single ride cymbal sample on the lower keyboard, and an acoustic piano on the upper keyboard. It sounds pretty good on jazzy stuff with a walking bass. If possible I would like to set this up on my Integra-7. It would involve being able to do a tone layer of just a ride cymbal playing the same not over the entire range of the keyboard. So far I can't figure out how to do this.
Will the Integra-7 do this? If so, how do you set it up?

Ok, I figured it out. It's a matter of making up a drum kit of just that one ride cymbal on all the notes. It took a while but I did it. As I made the preset I noticed that you could insert some random articulation variations on different notes. Something to try in the future.
