I have an Integra7, a Korg Krome, a Hammond SK1-73
I am able to play the sounds on the Integra7 with either unit
I would like to be able to make program changes from the Korg
When I do so, the display shows
(attached is an image of the dispaly)
ToneNumber 0000
Tonename Changes with the patch selected on the Korg
The tone number DOES NOT change.
It does not matter which bank I select on the Korg, result is the same
My goal is to use my "F" bank on the Korg to setup my patches for our set
I would like to associate these patches with certain Tones on the Integra7.
I'm not sure how to do this. I have the ipad app, but it is of no use
I downloaded the Integra7 Editor from sakura and I don't see anything there that might help
Can someone enlighten me please. With as much detail as you can, I am new to the Integra 7
Thank you in advance

Re: Midi Program Change Information
You are showing I7 Part 1 - MIDI CHANNEL 1. Are you sending data from Korg on Channel 1 or some other channel?
assuming part/channel defaults on I7 then if Korg is sending data on some other channel then use part arrows to select that part/channel or use back arrow to select "Part" on screen" then use data wheel to select that part/channel

Re: Midi Program Change Information
Am sending on Midi channel 1 from Korg.
The tone number 0000 is false I think, because you cannot retrieve that under normal circumstances on the Integra 7
Is the midi program change information the same format or form as Krome.
Maybe that is the issue

Re: Midi Program Change Information
You need to enter a valid MSB and LSB bank select info as well as the Program Change. What you're getting is an error, when the Integra 7 doesn't recognize the Bank change takes you to that 0000 patch.
To view the actual MSB, LSB and program changes of a desired patch on the integra 7, on your studio set view, press the "part view" button twice and you'll access a different screen layout of your studio set, that includes MSB, LSB and PC info for the current patch (See image attached)

Re: Midi Program Change Information
I suppose that is correct.
Turns out that if I go to system setting, Midi settings leave the Studio set change to either off or ch16
Then I turned the bank change to off
Left the program change to on
The Midi channels are set in the Studio Set, I am outputting on ch1 from the Korg
It now accepts the correct patch changes form the Korg
So now if I input patch F000 on my Korg out to the Integra 7 I get patch 0001 on the corresponding midi channel in the set
note: A000 from Korg gets same result
So I can go ahead and construct my set on the Korg and have it coincide with both my Integra 7 and mixer.
Does bring another issue though.
I am setting the tones up in a new studio set.
On channel 1 in the set I would like to use both SN and PCM sound on the different tone banks inside midi channel 1 in my studio set
ie Studio set = New
Midi channel 1 -- 0001 = SN-A Grand Piano
0002 = SN-A Bright Grand
0003 = PCMS Sparkle Piano
I can't seem to achieve this with either the Editor (from sakura), or with the iPad app
Anybody have any suggestions?

Re: Midi Program Change Information
I use Mainstage live with my integra 7. Mainstage lets you send MSB LSB bank changes and program changes for any patch inside Mainstage. So no need to "pre set" the bank you'd want to be using you can jump between Super natural, PCM, Drums, etc etc in the same channel since when Mainstage sends a program change to the i7 it also sends MSB and LSB changes.
