Midi merge the I7 to the S8 via the A300 pro.

You can assign the cc's to the knobs and sliders on the A300 to affect the I7 and also have after touch for Supernatural solo's.
Midi merge to the System 8 and have a 49 key for piano arp and sequencer stuff and layer with the S8.
Wow. A300 is on it's way.

Cool setup. Best of modern Roland. Let us know how it works in practice.

Which ones ?

A300 and S8 ? or A300 and integra7 ?

Are you sure that didn't work?

I have a UM550 MIDI Merge/Patcher for connecting all my devices, but sometimes for quick tests or when I need an extra port, I use my PCR-800 (used to have a A-500 but it died) and I can do MIDI Merge with perfectly whenever is necessary...

I just couldn't get the workflow right with this gear. Totally my lack of patience and know how.

I had a real Roland journey after my Korg Workstation years and loved the gear individually.

Just ordered a Kronos 2. Back in my comfort zone.

The Kronos is a way far more complex than the integra in all aspects, but a real and one of thge most powerful workstation that you can buy today, and that I wouldn't mind to own one myself provided I had the necessary funds :-)
