I have been unable to "program" my Alesis VI61 controller to do program changes. The keyboard is sending data and will play any patch that I hand dial into the Integra. The pitch and mod wheels also work- but that's about the extent of it.
Any thoughts on what might be going on here?

Alesis VI61 as live performance controller for Integra-7

You have to use the VI61 Editor in order to program your VI61 to do what you want.crbacsw wrote:I have been unable to "program" my Alesis VI61 controller to do program changes. After taking a look to the Editor, it seems very straightforward to program and Switch or Knob to send CC or Program Change Data on Any MIDI channel to the integra.
By default the integra's MIDI channel for receiving MIDI configuration is channel 16, but you can change that on the integra.
Take a look to the Editor and play around with it.
Don't forget that each switch/Knob on the VI61 should have MIDI to DIN=ON in order to send data to the integra.
I hope this helps,
