Importing XV5080 or Fantom XR user patches into Integra?

Post by Calvin7s »

The Integra already has the XV5080 preset patches and the SRX patches. But what about custom user patches or even the SR-JV80 patches using the SRX waveforms. Is there a way to dump it off the XV5080 or Fantom XR into something like an SVD or MID file and directly load it into the Integra. Even if you have to go back and make some minor tweaks for MFX differences, it is still better than hand inputing each and every parameter by sight. That could take hours for just one patch, let alone 256 for every SR-JV80 board. And custom user patches must really be a pain.

It would actually allow you get rid of the old XV5080 or Fantom XR and maybe even buy a 2nd Integra, so it would seem to be in Roland's favor to allow this.

Anybody manage this? I know this place had some great programmers that modified XV5080 patches to work on the Fantom XR with a C++ program. Hopefully it wouldn't take that degree of mastery.
