SR-JV waveforms
Is there any way of seeing what waveforms are available in the Integra? I’m trying to recreate a few sounds from the SR-JV-06 “Dance” card, but I’ve had a hard time finding out which waveforms made it into the SRX cards, let alone if any are in the Integra ROM...

There: https://www.roland.com/us/support/by_pr ... 3d0ee55e4/
But there's a few problems:
- Roland changed the name of many waveforms (now called "tones")
- Not all the waveform made it from SR-JV to SRX
- On top of that you have this for the SR-JV80-06: http://www.planet-groove.com/roland/sr-jv80-06.html ... The important line is "Due to copyright problems...". Hence I'm sure something is missing on the SRX.

Re: SR-JV waveforms
The document linked by LA Keys shows the tones but not the waveforms which are the basis of the tones. I once created an Excelfile listing all PCM-waveforms contained in the I7 (see the tabs for the SRX-cards). You can find it attached to this post.

Indeed....
Now realizing that when I've wrote Roland changed the name of many waveforms (now called "tones") , I should have written Roland changed the name of many waveforms (now called "partials")

Re: SR-JV waveforms
I don't think that the terms "partial" and "waveform" are equivalent, since a partial contains more info than only the waveform (like pitch envelope, filter settings, volume settings and LFO). See p. 39 of the manual.

Well, believe it or not but I scored the SR-JV card I was looking for..! It sounds great (and tantalizingly illegal!) in my 2080.

Re: SR-JV waveforms
LOL! I’m not that worried considering that whoever purchases the card is basically free from blame, Roland however had to remove the card from the market... I bet Kraftwerk are still pissed! :)Grammar Wombat wrote:Guard your words carefully, my dear Analogaddict.analogaddict wrote:…SR-JV card…illegal!…
