Layers and Splits using iPad App

The iPad app for Roland Integra 7 is the best thing that ever happened to a Roland hardware synth. I was able to figure a bunch of stuff but I am still lost on how to layer and split parts using the iPad app. I know how to do that using the Integra 7 menu itself but I don't want to touch it once powered on. Isn't that the whole point anyways?

So if anyone has figured out how to layer and split parts, please let me know.

Thanks,
PK

Hi... I'm Using AUM and iMIDIPatchbay to do that.
This APPs are more flexible ... for example:

On AUM you can:
* Mix 2 Integra channel + 2 IOS APP and controle the volume, range, etc by each channel

On iMIDI you can:
* Route up to 4 controllers to 4 different midi channels on integra.
In my case .... Now a day I'm using on:

RD64 -> Out Midi 1 Mixing by iMIDIPatchbay -> IN Midi 1, 2, 3 , 4 to Integra -7 .... so in this case I have different "scenes to use in live situation" .... saving polyphony.

iMIDIPatchbay could merge signal received by Midi channel 1 (RD just send 1 channel) up to for.

Hope My English would be enough to help you

Other apps that should be able to do this include Keystage and Camelot Pro. And the nice thing about all these other apps is that, not only can you split/layer Integra sounds, but you can also split/layer sounds from the Integra with sounds from other iOS apps.

Kpranav, do you use a DAW?

Maybe this can help give you ideas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxs_SW18874

Not a flex or self promotion-- just genuinely enjoy using this setup live and try to share when I can.
