Should I sell my integra?

Post by deswind »

Hi everyone.
I have the latest Fantom (7) - the Yamaha Montage, an RD2000 and a Korg Kronos. (And a D-05 for that matter).
Do I seriously need the Integra 7 - or is it overkill with everything else?

No you should keep it, and buy a Korg Wavestate, an ASM Hydrasynth, a Sequential Pro3, and obviously a Roland Jupiter-X (and a Jupiter-XM as well for the vacations).

I mean how can you make music with the only things you already have? Are people so desperate these days they can't even get the stuff they need?

Well - a lot of sarcasm. But really did not answer my question!

I think he did. You don't seem to need your Integra anymore. At least, this is my humble opinion ;-)

It's a strange question.
If you are using it, you obviously need it. If you are not using it, sell it.

Unless you are desperate for money, keep it.
It is a fabulous box of quality classic Roland history and will not take up much space in the cupboard if you don't use it for a while.

Just my 2 cents worth

Pete :-)

+1

P.S: From my own experience, from all the synths I had - Fantom Xa, Roland V-Synth XT, Roland RS-70, Roland D-05, Novation MiniNova, Yamaha MOXF, Korg Kross2, Yamaha MODX - the integra is to keep!
It's a real workhorse!

Just one update on my previous post...

I sold everything I had and bought a Nord Electro 6D, a Behringer Deepmind 6, and three "toys", a Korg NTS-1, a Modal Craftsynth 2.0, and two Eurorack Synth modules in order to explore other sound scapes, but maintained the "old" integra7 as the "bread and butter" synth !!!

I use it for PADs, Strings, Orchestral, El.Pianos, Basses, El and Ac. Guitars and some Drums.

It's definetely a keeper !!

Cheers,
PauloF

Same here, mate.

Also, I couldn't load any page of the forum for the past 3 weeks, and then suddenly now it's working again. I wonder what happened?

Hope you're OK too, Brother P.

Indeed LOL.

What happened in your case, Brother P? For me, it wouldn't load any page and instead showed a small white login window. When I entered my account details it just kept redrawing the login window with empty text fields.

I created a thread over at V-Drum Forum to see if any members there were also signed-up here and knew what was going on, but nobody could help unfortunately, so all that time I thought it was probably a problem with my computer or whatever.
