I purchased a USB Wireless WNA1100 RL dongle so I can control the Integra-7 using iPad. I don't even know if the dongle works or not because I am unable to configure the integra-7 to begin with.
I go to Menu | Settings | Wireless | Options | Ad-hoc = ON | Exit
I still Status as Not available. I even tried to reset to factory default and I still see the same message. Is something wrong with my Integra-7 module itself?
Unable to start ad-hoc wireless connection
Re: Unable to start ad-hoc wireless connection
I don't use my WNA1100 in ad-hoc mode but instead connect to my wifi router by selecting an access point. I just put mine into ad-hoc mode as a test and after perhaps 10 seconds I can see the ad-hoc wifi details on my Integra screen so the way you are describing should work. Perhaps connect it to a computer and see if you can get it to work and in this way confirm that it does actually work.
