Unpack the file from Dropbox. (the link is in the description of the youtube clip)
Copy the SMPL folder(TODESCHINI FA-06\Roland\FA\SONG\0001~0100\0001\SMPL
) to a song on your SD-card that doesn't have samples (or they will be overwritten).
example: \Roland\FA\SONG\0001~0100\0001

That worked well so far, thanks. But now I have the samples on 3 banks of the 16 pads. I can play samples on the pads but you played it on the keys. How do you do this?

Hello friends !!!
I tried the sample accordion Todeschini and works perfectly fine !!! I like it!!!
I guess it's been an awesome job to sample 61 samples for 61 keys of the FA.
We now expect more people to sample real instruments or new others sounds through this method that works really well.
Very good work........

Congratulations !!!!!

I was surprised to see that in this way you can indeed get external samples which are playable on the keys. But I guess it is only possible to use one velocity layer of a sample. Does the sample react to velocity at all (can you apply velocity-sensitive filters)?

There were some very clever people that did the same with the Juno-G's user drum kits, since it didn't support multy-samples like the Fantom-X, people would put their sounds as drum kits. I'm glad to see somebody thought of doing the same for the FA, even if at the moment, there's no velocity. With an expression pedal, Hammond players will be quite used to this behaviour anyway, and it just takes a little practice to become proficient.
Very well thought out.

never tried, but I thought that there is velocity in the Pad Part. Other user told so.
But indeed there is no way of velocity layering of any samples.
was that your issue ?

Hey, more exiting: Make a layer with the Pad-Part and one MIDI-Part, where you programmed another Accordeon from internal Sounds. Now it sounds with reverb, great!!!

Can you describe in detail, if possible, how you've sampled acordeon todeschini for use in the FA-06?
So we can learn to sample more instruments.
Thanks very much!
