Midi Synchronization

Post by Key2in »

I have connected FA06 with my DAW Cubase9 via USB and separate audio cables L/R which go into my RME sound card.
But I want my FA06 to follow whatever tempo my Cubase is on, I mean midi synchronization setup so kindly tell me what internal settings I need for FA06?

In the System-Settings you can choose the values for synchronisation!

So you need to set it to "Slave" and "USB".

You will also need to make sure Cubase is sending out clock data.

Thank you nice help, Everything is all synced in properly in slave mode, but when I switch to slave mode then Arp is not working, but when I put it on Auto mode or Master mode then Arp works and I am able to record in Cubase but then it doesn’t sync properly.
Please tell me why does Arp switch off automatically in slave mode?

Keyboard and Soundmodule in the FA are two different devices in one Housing (Box). The arpeggiatior is controlled by the keyboard. When you switch your FA to Slave, only the Soundmodule is working. In this case the Keyboard-Unit is switched off, so you can't use the Arp!

i think the arp only works when the external sequencer is running, sadly my sequencer only sends clock when its playing.
