Are SuperNatural acoustics downloadable?

Just swapped the Model ID in this sysex file and downloaded it to the FA. I am not shure what happend with the Integra sounds, because I don't know how it should sound. Some parts were recalling presets, some have a blank name. Only 3 of the "blanks" produce auditable sounds. All sounds are guitar or acc. bass.
Part 2 is best of them and sounds like a good SN-A acc. guitar, also tweakable with the S1 switch.

Please see the attached screenshot. It seems that alle data was received by FA without error messages.

djkot, canyou ask your friend if this was intended, what I hear. It would be best if the Studio Set looked the same way on the Integra.

All patches from Your screenshot are exactly the same! And here are names of "blank" patches :

Please let me know which of these patches are playable.

Only 3 of the blanks are playable. I did not dig in to data, next I will check out all sysex messages adress-wise.
First two messages are Studio Set Common (18 00 00 00) and Studio Set Chorus (18 00 01 00). It is also currently unkniwn, why not all parts are represented by tone name.
Give me some more time for that.

I am also working on the SVD format, which is very heavy to find out because there are no documents about it.
A great goal would be a I7 to FA converter ....

2,9,13 which means all patches with guitar and bass waves. I guess all other wont work because of the lack of SNA waveforms. We will see, I still will continue this project.
I will post the FA.SVD file so everybody can test it.

I have saved the INTEGRA PREVIEW Studio Set to a SVD file. So you can check the imported Integra data.
Please follow these steps:

Copy the File to a FA formatted SD card into the IMPORT folder.
Press MENU->UTILITY->Import Studio Set/Tone.
Select File Name "I7.SVD".
In the next SELECT SOURCES menu are 2 Studio Sets.
0001 is the one which is saved after download into the temporary memory (remeber the screenshot above).
0002 is a manually saved Studio Set, where I saved in addition all the tone/parts with WRITE. Curiously while saving the blank name changes to an full tone name. You will see it on the display when You load each other.

In this menu you can press RIGHT CURSOR select the SN-A,SN-S, SN-D etc. and You'll find the manually saved Tones.

MARK ALL items and then press F7 (import).
Now dial in the USER:001 Studio Set "INTEGRA PREVIEW", and check USER:002.

Not clear what happened with the Tones in case it is touched by EDIT TONE or WRITE.
Some data changes and I guess that some data from I7 are invalid for FA. While download this data is written to the temp memory, but there is something like a "data validation" process, which cares for a valid WRITE operation.
While the I7 data is in the temp memory it is not validated, thus some tones produce not the expected sound. This is caused by the different amount of SN-A presets. FA has 100 and I7 about 250.

So, as conclusion it must be stated, that SN-A data maybe downloaded to FA, but because of the missing SN-engines we will not be able to play the I7 SN-A sounds.

But please trywith the attached file.

On the other hand, it might be meaningful to get some I7 SN-S for the FA.or not?

I have just tried to import sounds from Integra and these sounds are still not playable :
TenorSax 1
PhaseCutting
FrenchHorn
etc

And when I tried to edit these tones I didn't saw any waveforms of instruments.

yes, the common engine windows is empty because there is no brass-like SN-A engine.
I think each SN-A type has its own VA plug in.

Whilst I would like more SN-A engines.. that as you have no proved wont work.

I would like to load my own samples though... thought about that?

Imagine being able to load your own drum loops in an use them as SNA or PCM etc.. either of those would expand this synth sooo much. (Even more so than more SNA types)

So I imagine the SMP format is encoded in the SVD format?

Im not sure I can do It.. I would def like to help but I don't have my integra anymore (I sold it for the FA-08)...

I have actually loaded up some of the expansions up with a hex editor. Its binary of course and there wanst much I could learn from that... but its possible theoretically at least.

Open one of the expansions.. insert sample file to replace one of the samples .. should upload and work fine.. but working out the file format etc is the hard bit.

would be no suprise if the EXP sample data is encrypted...
SVD format is not documented, but it can't contain sample data.
We well need some insider information from this secret world.
