Who thinks adding the FA to the G would be the way to go..
Given that the G is all geared up to controling an external mulitimberal device with its external
mixer and all.
Since the FA is NOT a G replacement.
How would you work with these babys together.
FA+ Fantom G
Re: FA+ Fantom G
Hmmm.. maybe live it would be a great choice, to go with a FG7 or 8. In the studio, might be better to go for an Integra-7. Depends on the fine print really.

Re: FA + Fantom G
The FA has the Jupiter/Integra SN synth engine with those modeled Moog, Jupiter and Prophet filters. If the Fantom G is like the X, the filters are the weakest part of the synth. They are fine for doing acoustic sound shaping and some digital synth sounds, but the Fantom (X) filters don't work out so well when trying to emulate a vintage synth. The Jupiter's and Integra's do a really good job. Do they sound like the originals? Probably not, but I don't mind. I like the sound of those synths, and according to a live demo by some European chap, the FA sounds identical to an Integra.
As a second keyboard, I'm sure the FA is different enough to work well having both.
