Balanced Main Ouput Jacks (question)

Post by geeman »

Hi,

Having ordered my new FA-06, (ETA end of Feb), am just reading the manuals and see the 'balanced' left and right output jacks, which is something I don't know much about. As I will be just plugging my FA into a pair of powered computer speakers with a mini jack connection, would connecting a pair of normal mono jacks into a stereo mini jack suffice or not? Thanks.

The balanced sockets will take unbalanced "mono" connectors too. However if you're using computer speakers I would suggest plugging them into the headphone socket as it will be a stronger output and stereo through one connection.

That's great, thank-you. I'll be using Creative Inspire T10 speakers, which are adequate for the room I'm in. Cheers.
