Fa - export audio multi tracks

Post by cminor »

I have a question.
Exporting multitrack audio inside FA, is taking long? is it in realtime?
I mean, if I have a 3 minutes 10 midi channels song, it will take 3 x 10 = 30minutes, for exporting???

I think, it will be in this way, because the system has to convert the whole MIDI-Datas into a wave-file...

Yupe! its all realtime as I pointed out before the FA was released
so yes exporting tracks is as follows..

<Song Length> x <number of midi tracks used> = <total time to export>

Time to sit down and drink a BIG pot of Coffee (to keep you awake while you wait LOL)
Or
Just take yourself a quick power nap! ;)

Damn...
I was hoping that it can record "multitrack" :)
I mean, that it can record on multichannel wave from ONE play.

Thank you for this information..

Ah, I just found this.

So the # of tracks X number of minutes thing really doesn't make it any more effecient than me running them into my DAW individually except for the minimal set up time between each track. Plus I'd have to import them into my DAW anyway so that kind of equals things out.
