Yes I did. I don't know, if I made something wrong, but it didn't work!

I'm not surprised, really. It probably checks the device signature and sees that it's not an Integra. But if the programming interface of the both machines are mostly the same, then it shouldn't be hard for Roland to make the Integra editor work with the FA.

It is not programmed by Roland, it was programmed private. I hope, that the programmer reads this threads here, or ... otherwise I will write him an Email...

Bad news: I asked the programmer of the Integra-7, weather he plans to program also an editor for the FA-Synths. He wrote, that he hasn't a FA-Synthesizer, so he can't write a program for it. That's too bad!

I dont know if anyone has tryed the integra editor on the FA..
but they say integra patches are directly compatible with the FA so that would mean
all sysex would be the same too.. which should mean the integra editor should work in some fashion
unless im mistaken..

How I wrote above, I tried the Integra-7-Editor, but it didn´t run.

Here is the original answer from the Int.-7-Programer:

Sorry.
I don't plan to program FA Editor.
Integra-7 and FA-06/08 are similar.
Part Parameters, Super Natural Synthesizer, PCM(=XV-5080) and MFX are same.
But Super Natural Acoustic, PCM Drum Waves, EX PCM Area, Total Effects and Sampling function (near equal SP-404) are different.
I do not have FA-06/08.
I can't test these functions different from Integra-7.
so I can't correct, even if Program hangs-up or freezes.

I downloaded and ran the XP version on windows 7 and it ran.
If you do this and choose the FA as the midi in/out
what happens then when you do edits?

The Integra-7 and FA's have different Model ID's for SysEx, so the Integra-7 Editor can't be used directly with the FA's.

Integra-7 Model ID: 00 00 64 (hex)
FA-06/08 Model ID: 00 00 77 (hex)

Please look at K_Take's response quoted by Candy, two posts above.

If someone can translate to english for the programmer: Start an Indiegogo campaign to create a Mac/iOS editor, I will personally contribute to the fund and get the word out to all FA-0 users.

Here is an editor for the Roland FA 06: 'Supernatural Synth Editor "but I could not try it because I have not found a way to download it:

Do any of you have been able to download it and try it?
