Midi playing software

I just purchased the FA-06 for live performance use. I use SMF songs on stage with a Fantom S and since each song has to be loaded in the FA for it to play from the internal sequencer I have ran in to a problem with time between songs. At least with the Fantom I can scroll down thru my song list and have the next file ready to play with out having to load it. I would like to be able to chain play several songs at a time but this is not an option with the FA. The Fantom will only chain play in the order they are stored so this is not an option. Is there any software available to do this for me with a laptop connected via the USB port? I am not familiar with DAW software since my playing is mainly live performances.
I currently use the Fantom's sequencer and connect via MIDI to the FA which works but would like to have more options. I'm hoping with a software via the USB I could send MIDI files by both a computer and the Fantom via MIDI. Any help greatly appreciated.
