When comparing the EXP-03 and the SRX-09 they are almost identical.
Only these waveforms are missing from the SRX-09:

006 122:GamelnP1
007 78:GamelnP2
248 GuZhengArpUp
249 GuZhengArpDn
292 Er Hu Phrase

I love the versatility of the SRX09. All the waveforms are from the 1990s, but I fancy them. It would be my second choice after the SRX 06.

The best one so far...These kind of sounds where missing from the fa..
Also some orcherstral stuff is missing so srx expansion will be good...

But i hope they will go even further with the expansion slots.........Not only srx...

No way, hope its not EP's the EP's in the FA are fine IMO, we need srx-06, srx-04 or srx-10 to make up for some of the weaker sides of the FA.

^^ Agreed - the FA has plenty EP sounds (as well as the EXP Keys expansion). Not that I'll ever use any of them anyway, so a complete waste of space for me.

However, the FA is short on strings so Orchestral or Symphonic would be perfect :)

Orchestral would be better because of its versatility

Srx06 Complete Orchestra is my favorite SRX board. With over 400 patches and over 400 waveforms, it is extremely versatile. Some of the strings, e.g. the stereo strings (e.g. patch 'Big Strings'), are as high-quality as the SRX 04 to me, others have very audible loops (especially those from the JV Orchestral 1). But as you only have 2 slots, I think in most cases it wouldn't make sense to fill a slot only with strings, if you can have the range of the SRX 06.
