Trigger Samples from Keyboard?
Is it possible to trigger samples from the Keyboard on the FA?
Re: Trigger Samples from Keyboard?
In the sequencer yes. Switch type from midi to pad.
For example, after the first onboard song has loaded highlight track 16.
You will find you can play all the sounds that are assigned to the 4 samples banks.
They are spread across the keyboard.
I have not seen any other way of doing it, but then I have not really looked.

Re: Trigger Samples from Keyboard?
Are the Samples Velocity on the Keys?I know the Pads are not Velocity.
Re: Trigger Samples from Keyboard?
The samples triggered by the keyboard ARE velocity sensitive. You can "play" the samples il you select the right part in the studioset (the one for which you switched from MIDI to PAD...)Producer21215 wrote:Are the Samples Velocity on the Keys?I know the Pads are not Velocity.

Re: Trigger Samples from Keyboard?
Tagging on to an old post here -
Is there a way, when playing samples on the keyboard, to have them played at a fixed volume?
The sample's volume is fixed when playing the pad directly and also with the D-Beam but becomes touch sensitive on the keyboard and it's annoying!
Any help appreciated, thanks!

Re: Trigger Samples from Keyboard?
I think the only way to do that is to set the keyboard to a fixed velocity. Ref. manual p.97.

Thanks - that does work but is obviously quite impracticle ;-)cda wrote:I think the only way to do that is to set the keyboard to a fixed velocity. Ref. manual p.97.
I'll just need to watch how I play it!
