How to use Audio FX in Logic Pro X?

Okay, so here's the deal.
I'm using FA-08 synth as an external MIDI instruments.
The problem is, when I try to apply EQ to the track, it doesn't apply.
Volume, etc. doesn't apply. I've tried outputting the track to the aux track and applied EQ to the aux track, but that didn't work either.
How could I apply Audio FX to the external instruments?

P.S. The Pitch Bend post was an embarrassing question. Anyone know how to delete my own topic?
