Recording w/ Pedals

Post by TheSlopingCompanion »

I am currently at work so I cannot dig around and find out for myself. Is it possible to assign a pedal (or two) to start/stop recording for either the sequencer or sampler? I want to be able to hit start recording with a pedal tap, play a melody, and tap pedal again to stop recording- even further to have the loop I just played start playing right on stop recording?

Sorry if the wording was weird, thanks for any help!

All I could find was that you can assign a pedal to start a song.

Hmmm... Check this video, essential for all FA owners: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dbu-OhSf0Vg

About 1 minute in you can see start/stop and other features. Not sure if theres a record button...

He did say "maybe start/stop the sequencer". If you try it and it works let us know.
