FA-06/08 USB driver for Mac OS X Sierra 10.12
FA-06/08 USB driver for Mac OS X Sierra 10.12
Has anyone upgraded to OS X 10.12 Sierra and use an FA-06/08? Does it work without a USB driver upgrade?

Roland say they plan to release a new driver in about a month.

That's concerning, if it does need a new driver, Roland drop products like hot cakes.
I'm guessing the class complaint mode should work, regardless, no matter what OS however.

No issues here. OSX 10.12.1 / Logic Pro X 10.2.4 seeing things fine..wilkinsi wrote:Has anyone upgraded to OS X 10.12 Sierra and use an FA-06/08? Does it work without a USB driver upgrade?

I'm using MOTU AudioDesk 4.0 (free version of Digital Performer 9) as a DAW, and the FA-06 serves as a controller for a soft synth UVI Falcon. Anyone using an FA-06/08 with UVI Falcon or MOTU MachFive 3 and AD4 or DP9?

Well, I took the plunge today (I had nothing else planned today), and Sierra does not see the FA-06. It sees the driver for 10.11, but that's it. System Preferences kept crashing every time I tried to access it, until I rebooted the Mac yet again. I'm glad I kept that USB/MIDI cable. Hurry up with that Sierra driver, Roland. I need that USB/MIDI cable to sync my Mac to my VS recorders, and don't have another £35-£40 to spend on another cable.
