FA Sampling via an External Effects Processor

Post by PugFace »

Has anybody tried and successfully sent a FA synth part through its sub-out , then on through an external effects processor and then back in to itself via its audio in to generate a sample of the processed signal?

I have an Eventide H9 max and want to use the high quality reverb in this unit.

Did you already try that? I would say, this one should work fine. Look at the setting for the input channel (keyb vs. audio-in vs. both).

No i didn't i was wondering wether a feedback loop might happen.

I had a look at the audio schematic in one of the manuals, it seems possible but it cant go through the FA compressor.
I don't have the stereo to 2 mono cable required for my mixer so i thought i would ask before buying one and trying it.

Tried it with a Cordial 6.3mm TRS to 2 Mono cable and it works perfectly.

The FA sounds sounds amazing through a H9.
