Hi
I own both the FA06 and Integra7, but can't help thinking the Integra is now obsolete, as I can import all the Integra sounds to the FA06. Okay, I lose my multiple outputs, but gain some £££ to buy other gear.
Has anyone established if you can import single tones, rather than the entire say JUNO 6 library. Also, has anyone established how to import Integra studiosets?

Yes, please search the Forum.
please Note that you can not have alle the Integra SN Sounds because FA has less SN engines.

Re: Integra 7 Studio Sets
Thanks. I couldn't find any post on this, hence the request. I only need about 30 patches from my I7. Any advice would be appreciated.
Re: Integra 7 Studio Sets
You only load individual tones into the FA. From the Integra. Not the studio sets as such.
Choice from the Axial site. http://axial.roland.com/category/integra-7/
You also get the choice of EXP 1 to 9 for the FA. Which you can only install 2 at once.

Examples of what they give you from the Juno 106 collection from the Integra.

Re: Integra 7 Studio Sets
A suggestion, backup your FA first. Then load one of the Integra collections. Audition all the new sounds and write down the ones you like. Revert back to previously saved version and then just mark and import the sounds you liked and backup. Repeat with next collection. You'll save yourself some space as you only have 512 slots.
Re: Integra 7 Studio Sets
Perfect thanks. I'm only after about 30 of the Integra patches.

Re: Integra 7 Studio Sets
Lots of Integra sounds are not available on the FA06. For example, you will not be able to bring in any patch that uses a SuperNatural Acoustic tone other than piano, EP, clav, organ, acoustic guitar, bass, or ensemble strings. SN Acoustic tones on the Integra that are NOT available on the FA include:DEVO-UK wrote:I own both the FA06 and Integra7, but can't help thinking the Integra is now obsolete, as I can import all the Integra sounds to the FA06.
solo brass (trumpet, trombone, french horn, saxes, etc.)
solo strings (violin, viola, cello)
winds (oboe, bassoon, clarinets, piccolo, flutes)
tuned percussion (vibes, marimba, glockenspiel, xylophone, tubular bells, steel drums, tympani)
elec guitar, harp, sitar
choirs
accordions, harmonica, bagpipes
and probably some others.
In addition, if you have any Integra patches that include splits/layers from among 3 or 4 SRX-based expansions, you won't be able to use those, because the FA can only use up to 2 of those expansions sets at a time.
The Integra also has the 4-slot "Expansion Hi-Quality PCM Sounds" -- those are not in the FA, so if your Integra patches use those sounds, you won't be able to get those sounde from the Integra.
