Setting loop to increments

Post by russelljay »

Hi, is there a way to set the looper to not just the start or end of a bar?

I'd be so sad if this weren't the case as I can't find a way?

thanks

I tried to find a way after reading your post as I'm a new FA owner. I can't find a way to do it either, but I also couldn't think of a use case for looping on anything other than measure boundaries.

See pg 57 of the manual item 2, specifying start & end points of the loop.

Press Shift+Loop. Here you can adjust the loop points, you want!

You can always just change the size of the bar. Give yourself a 1/8 time signature in the section of the song you want to loop, for instance! :-)

Cool Trick! Wow Shift button really is your best friend with the FA... The manual is so boring...

I know how to set the loop length, but I want to set this in increments?
I.e. beats and ticks....

What is the point on even owning a sampler if I can
t set the loop to something other than bars.

Page 57, yep saw that- doesn't answer my question.

You can loop any length on the sample itself, but the sequencer, is fixed to nearest bar unfortunately.

You could add silence to the beginning and/or end of your sample(s) to make the actual sound start/end on any beats you want them to
