FA-06 midi set-up

Post by kinsast »

Here's my dilemma:

I'm running Logic on a new MacBook Pro - I'm attaching the FA-06 via USB cable to the MacBook for midi data and analog audio out via an Mbox 3pro also via an USB cable.

I want to record the analog audio as wells as the midi data at the same time on different tracks.

This works for just a very short time before I get some terrible 'feedback kind of sound'.

So, I guess it has to do with the midi data flow, respectively with some midi settings BUT I don't know how to change that and what.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated - tx K.

and the answer is: turn 'local off' in the 'controller' page of the FA-06 !!

Thanks to a helpful hand on the gearslutz forum ;-)
