I see that there's an audio input on the back of the FA-06. Is it possible to use that input essentially as a pass-through? I would like to play back a track to play along with.
I don't want to sample the track, just hear it through the speaker or headphones. I won't be using a traditional amp with a headphone jack, so running the playback device through the amp isn't an option.
I hope my question makes sense. Let me know if I can clarify. Thanks!
Using Audio Input for Practice Tracks
Re: Using Audio Input for Practice Tracks
Yes, it will just pass audio through.
There are however 2 audio inputs - one 1/4", and one 3.5 stereo miniplug. If you're using stereo tracks from an mp3 player, ipod, CD player, etc. then you'll want to use the 3.5mm jack probably.
The other is for inputting a Microphone (or possibly, Guitar) that is a mono signal using a TS connector (as opposed to TRS as in a stereo 1/4" or 3.5mm size).

Re: Using Audio Input for Practice Tracks
Steve is right, and if you are running the FA in mono it will collapse the 3.5 mm input to mono too.
Re: Using Audio Input for Practice Tracks
Thanks for the replies. That's what I was hoping to hear.
