exporting axial sounds?

Post by Rupertt »

Hello,
is there any chance to keep a patch from one of the EXPs?
Some drums i just sampled, but know i have a synth patch i would like to keep.

Nope. They contain samples, which will be gone when you load another expansion.
I do it like this: I haven chosen one expansion I like the most, which is for me EXP02. So I can use the second slot for whichever other expansion I need. When you need piano's, you take the piano expansion, when you need brass take the one with the brass. Need synths? Take the one with synths. Need all? Buy the Integra-7 ;-)

I tend to use onboard SN-S engine, or onboard PCM-S waves for any synth sounds for this purpose. And then EXP's i reach for 'real' instruments.

I can't believe there's many EXP synth patches out there which can't be done without the EXP expansion.

Well, I am a huge hammond sound fan and I must say there is one patch in EXP-02 that has no rival in the on board sounds. It is the sound you can hear in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ht9R3udud_4
Listen and enjoy the great hammond-like sound!
