Discovered something I had not read about.
When my FA is connected via USB to my computer, if I turn the volume knob on the FA, it not only turns the FA vol up but also the volume of the Win Media Player that I am playing along with!
Not bad, but I have to change the vol in WMP to balance the two.
Edit: this had me confused, so I snooped a bit and saw that the FA becomes an audio device in Windows Sound, and if it is the default device, it routes sound to the USB system, using the FA volume control. When I make my sound controller the default device, it works normally. I'll need to look at my sound controller and see if I can change how it manages the USB inputs... I use a MOTU mk4.
