how do i save a modified sound?

Post by aktnine »

I want to eq a sound with the sound modify, and then save the eq'd sound so when I'm making a beat live and go to play that sound, it play's the eq'd version. I've read and tried some stuff, hasn't worked, I need a definitive answer. I sure hope this is possible since I just bought this thing with the soul purpose of making beats live. Thanks guys.

Save the modified "tone" to a user slot. Pg 46 of the ref manual.

For an edited sound (Tone) you must save (Write) the tone to a free user place, like gatorjohn said.
For an order of more sounds, means, on which track the several sounds are, you must save a Studio Set, how AnalogHero said.
And for saving a complete arrangement of the sequencer, you must store a song. Here you can decide, if you want to save it with or without samples, you have recorded.

If you're using the sound modify knobs then they are saved on a per-part basis in a studio set as offsets.

Saving the tone won't keep those offsets, it will just save the original tone again in a new location. At least that's what i've always beleived?
