Calling on FA boffins

Post by Keith Bowie »

Hope you FA boffins out there can help me
We have a song in our set that requires a arpeggio to start in the middle of the song.ive tried using tap time to sync the arpeggio with the drummer but it's a bit hit and miss .
I think the best way to do this is to create a click track and route it to the sub out for the drummers in ear monitor . He should then be playing to the timing set by my FA tempo.
I just don't know how to do it!
Can anybody help me ?
Or is there another way?
I'm using the FA 06 running the latest update
Really appreciate any help or guidance you can give.
Many thanks
Keith

What's a "boffin"?

Yep.

I just don't know how to do it!
What do you mean - on the FA, or from the mixing console perspective?

A"boffin" is a Scottish term for an expert.
Anyway found a genius on you tube called Arnold !
His channel demonstrates how to create your own drum track.
I just created a click track and routed it out of the sun output so thank you Arnold.
