Playing Samples when keyboard local is off

Hi All,
I have problem running the FA, I use a multi keyboard setup live and need the FA's keyboard set to local off within this. The problem is that I also use Samples and the sample pads are also disconnected and are also not accessible directly via MIDI. Has anyone discovered a way to play the samples from the FA in this type of configuration when local is set to off?
