Reverse expression/volume pedal for patch

Post by Sylaar »

Hi!
I'd like to reverse expression/volume for 1 patch, and keep it normal for another.
Have them both on at the same time, and switch between their volumes with the pedal.

Example:
Patch 1 = volume 0
Patch 2 = volume 127

push pedal down

Patch 1 = volume 127
Patch 2 = volume 0

and blend them as well, like bring them both to 64 at mid-pedal.

Any way to do this? Thanks!

Just to add to this....and the old thread (link above from skyy19854)

You can crossfade both PCM-S and SN-S patches with individual control over each oscillator within one patch if you set the expression pedal to Aftertouch in the System menu and then make the appropriate adjustments to the individual oscillators. You can plug in two expression pedals, so having one always configured to Aftertouch gives you more expression possibilities readily available. This is especially useful using the PCM-S engine with it's multiple Mod Matrix options. Lots of modulation potential there.

The SN-A engine doesn't give you individual oscillators to work with, so if you want to crossfade between to SN-A sounds, you'll need to use two separate patches and then set them up in opposite ways using Level instead of Aftertouch as the SN-A engine doesn't have the Aftertouch menu like the SN-S engine or the Mod Matrix like the PCM-S engine.
