turning Part 16 into regular part?

I know part 16 is the midi track or somesuch -- haven't quite played with it yet, though i've done MIDI with other stuff. But can you turn that part into a regular part so I can have one more on the set of pads (when in that pad mode).?

Blotchy, is it greyed out? I just did this. Go to the sequencer screen and change part 16 from pad to MIDI in the left-most column. It frees up that part.

Thanks Joe, now I understand. If i ever needed it back for the sequence I guess i lose the last tone, but that's definitely liveable. I'll definitely take the extra tone per set!
