Weird issue with octave changing

Has anyone else had this problem? My Roland Fa-08 has started shifting up octaves randomly by itself. If I switch down and octave, it just goes up again. I have no external inputs that could be triggering it. I also tried a factory reset, but no joy.

Any ideas would be very welcome!
