System 1 on Mac m1 problems

I have a new 2022 MacBook Pro running Ableton 11 with a 64 sample buffer. Every plugin I have runs so great I can stack them up to insane levels and the system is not strained. But…if I try to use the system-1 plugin in Ableton in a completely blank set, there are ticks and pops. It is only when the buffer is increased to 512 does it run properly. The sh101 and the promars have no problem with my system settings. Only system 1.

I have tried to get support from Roland and the cloud support group with no success. The take my support ticket but never answer.

Is anyone else experiencing this buffer problem with the DAW plugin?
