Types of CV pedals to use with System 1m and Scooper

I was wondering if anyone is using a cv/expression pedal to control any of the Aira Modular effects or the system 1m. I just got a Behringer FCV100 expression pedal that has a CV out feature. My thinking was to use it with the System 1m or one of the Scooper GRF patch points. I haven't gotten it to control much of anything on the System 1m unless I push the patch cable in halfway on the System 1m jack such as LFO in or Envelope In. Doesn't do much to most of the patch points and won't control anything on the Scooper halfway or full. It seems that the CV out on the pedal should do something at least for the Scooper?

Any experience welcome.
