Help Installing driver problem for Roland tr8 on Windows 10

Just bought a Roland tr8 and wanted to hook it up to my laptop via USB. Went to Roland Web support for the driver but when download the file it was just a read file. I read the file and checked a few things as it said on the driver status of the tr8 as it stated windows 10 will install the driver automatically. I looked at my driver settings in my control panel but it read no driver in the tr8. So please someone tell me where am I going wrong?

I was having the same issue, only got mine a few days ago. It seems that the drivers are already loaded in win10. I plugged the tr8 in and nothing happened, no pop up box saying searching/installing drivers, so I opened up ableton and the tr8 was listed in audio and midi devices within ableton.
