Demora MIDI CC messages

Demora doesn't seem to send or receive MIDI CC messages, I've tried everything with Ableton and Cubase. So what's the use of the 2 AIRA MODULAR and AIRA MODULAR CTRL MIDI ports? Manual is very poor and I'd like to know if anyone has found a way to write automations on a DAW with this effect or other AIRA effect like Torcido or Scooper or maybe Bitrazer. Thank you
