Does MX 1 record midi

Hello all,

A question about the MX1 being an audio interface. Does it also record midi? So I can change or correct a mistake if I hit the wrong key during recording.

Would I need to include for example a Roland UM One allowing midi signal to be recorded to music software?

I don't use a computer and want to inform myself before I do. I have tried searching this answer and found nothing.
