Sync Tr-8 to project tempo for tracking drums via analog out

Hi There,

I'm a Tr-8 owner and am planning to track drums into my DAW (Cubase 8.5) using the analog outs into my audio interface (Yamaha Montage).

I wonder if I can use the USB out of the Tr-8 to sync to my project tempo possibly via midi ?

Using the Tr-8 is as my sound card is not an option.

I would really appreciate some advice on how to track the Tr-8 drums into my DAW using analog outs whilst syncing to the project tempo
