TR-8 and 2015 iMac not recognizing USB connection

Hi there all!

Has anyone else had issues with USB connectivity with their TR-8? My TR-8 is not recognized in Ableton or when trying to install software updates with the TR-8 Utility (when I go to choose MIDI Input/Output the dropdown just lists 'none').

I've tried variations of unplugging and turning the TR-8 off or leaving it on whilst launching the DAW & Utility.

Anyone else have this issue of not being recognized via USB? I've tried 2 different USB chords as well...

Might be a daft question but I'll ask anyway... have you installed the Roland TR8 drivers?

SOLVED! Not too daft for me apparently... I don't know how I connected it prior and made an update to the software, maybe it didn't actually update but it appeared to be talking with the computer. Hmm.
