Boutique series for System-1 ?

Post by SynthGraphics »

Been really digging my System-1 w/SH-2 plug-out and looking at the JU-06 to replace my Juno-106. Then I starting thinking "Hmmmm, why doesn't Roland just release System-1 versions of the Boutique series, seems to be all the same basic DSP hardware inside, right?"

I doubt they will release poly-plugouts for the system-1. Chances are high they come up with a "system-8"
on their 909 celebration day soon:

Furthermore a JU-06 won't replace a Juno imo, due to its very small faders / knobs.
However another company is releasing a 12 voice poly analog based on a Juno with BIG controls soon :)

Plan is to control the JU-06 using my JD-XA in controller mode and assign all the XA sliders to JU-06 CC mapping. :)
