whats up
recently picked up the mx-1. love the features and usabilit, however i am having the hardest time gain staging in ableton. i have tried using it as my primary interface but everything was way too hot even when i have the individual channel gain level at 0. i now have the mx-1 routed into a focusrite interface kind of like an external instrument but i feel i loose some of the functionality of the mx-1 this way. I would like to use the mx-1 as my primary interface but not if everything is coming in extremely hot. Also can't seem to figure out why the master level on ableton is so low when recording 17-18....? Any tips would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks
